Professionally refurbished Atari 1040 STFM inc Power lead (power cable will have correct plug depending on where its being sent).

NOTE Cases may have a 520 STFM Badge but all our Atari STFM will have 1Mb of ram minimum.

 

What is Refurbished?

The Atari STFM mainboard has been professionally recapped PSU. Each unit is thoroughly inspected and tested including:

  • Full Keyboard check.
  • Floppy drive read and write test.
  • Sound checked.
  • Video checked.
  • Case and keyboard is stripped and cleaned.

We can also perform the following Atari STFM fixs if required – ask for further details

  • 10K pull up resistor network to the DMA databus.
  • 1772 Pull up Resistors added.
  • STFM Reset fix 22uF added across C100.
  • Bus resistors replaced with 2.2k resistor arrays.
  • Full motherboard recap.

What’s included?
  • Professionally refurbished Amiga A500 Unit (excluding mouse and PSU), these are options that can be added.
  What is Refurbished? Each Commodore Amiga A500 mainboard is professionally recapped and deep cleaned using a Ultrasonic cleaner, bathed using deionised water and professional grade PCB/Flux cleaning solution. Once completed it is dried and a full diagnostic test is completed. Each unit is thoroughly inspected make sure the Amiga 500 worked as it did when it first came from the factory back in the 1980’s. Case and keyboard is stripped and cleaned but due to age may show signs of use and age. It can take up to 21 working days for machines to be completed due to the high volume of orders, please take this into account when ordering.   What is Ultrasonic cleaning? Ultrasonic cleaning is a process that uses ultrasound (usually from 20–40 kHz) to agitate a fluid, this fluid is made up for this specific job which is to clean and remove any flux left over from recapping. We use deionised water (deionized depending where your from) and professional grade PCB cleaner. Atari STe Recapping Service
Atari 520 STF / 1040 STF Recapping Service inc PSU
Atari 520 STF / 1040 STF recapping service including recapping of STF PSU, all board revisions. This service includes both recapping of the Atari STF motherboard and PSU.
  • Check of the STF motherboard and PSU before recapping is begun.
  • Removal of existing capacitors.
  • Clean-up and preparation of area.
  • Replace using Panasonic/Wurth/KEMET capacitors.
  • Retest (Video, Audio, Floppy Boot) using diagnostic cartridge.
We also provide a recapping service for the  Atari 520 STe / 1040 STE / 4160 STE   What do you need to send? All we need is the mainboard and PSU, so please only send the board and PSU in its metal shielding. If however you choose to send the whole unit, there is an option to do that also via the choices below.
