Greaseweazle v4.1 allows versatile floppy drive control over USB. By extracting the raw flux transitions from a drive, any disk format can be captured and analysed - PC, Amiga, Amstrad, PDP-11, musical instruments, industrial equipment, and more. The Greaseweazle also supports writing to floppy disks, from a range of image file formats including those commonly used for online preservation (ADF, IPF, DSK, IMG, HFE)

 

Greaseweazle V4.1 is the latest version, updated for mass production and with the following features:

  • Reads and writes 3", 3.5", 5.25", 8" disks (with suitable drive and cable)
  • Buffered outputs, for communicating with older 5.25" and 8" disk drives
  • Integrated power connector for directly powering most 3.5" disk drives

  What's included?
  • Professionally refurbished Amiga 1200 Unit (excluding mouse and PSU, these are options that can be added below).
  What is refurbished? Each Commodore Amiga 1200 mainboard is professionally recapped (standard or Polymer is available at extra cost) and deep cleaned using a Ultrasonic cleaner, bathed using deionised water and professional grade PCB/Flux cleaning solution. Once completed it is dried and a full diagnostic test is completed. Each unit is thoroughly inspected make sure the Amiga 1200 worked as it did when it first came from the factory back in the 1990’s, case and keyboard is stripped and cleaned but due to age may show signs of use. Each Amiga 1200 is refurbished to the customers specifications, with that in mind each unit can take 14/21 working days to prepare and test depending on demand.   What is Ultrasonic cleaning? Ultrasonic cleaning is a process that uses ultrasound (usually from 20–40 kHz) to agitate a fluid, this fluid is made up for this specific job which is to clean and remove any flux left over from recapping. ScanPlus AGA is a internal Scandoubler for the Amiga 1200 and Amiga 4000D (not Amiga 4000T or Amiga CD32). The advantage of the internal ScanPlus AGA is that it will allow you to connect to a standard VGA monitor whether that be a traditional (best) CRT experience or a flat screen monitor or TV with VGA connector. The primary PCB sits over the Lisa chip and the smaller PCB sits over the Alice chip. Output connector connects to a VGA socket which sits in a 3D printed backplate which is included (available in white or black, please note white will be sent if no note is made asking for black). ScanPlus is plug and play, no drivers or setting up required, it will work straight out of the box, all Amiga screen modes are available via the VGA connector, these include Multiscan, PAL, NTSC, DoublePAL DoubleNTSC, Euro36, Euro72, Super72. Amiga A1200 Keyboard Membrane (NEW)
Amiga A1200 Keyboard Membrane (New)
Amiga A1200 Keyboard Membrane brand new. If you have issues with your Amiga A1200 keyboard with missing keys or missing rows of keys the chances are the membrane needs replacing. These Amiga A1200 brand new (manufactured 2020) membranes are based on the original Mitsumi keyboard membrane (also marked A1200-A) and original Mitsumi Model number 56C774A. What if you have missing keys or rows of keys on the Keyboard? Try these possible fixes first:
  • Check the ribbon is inserted all the way in the connector on the Amiga A1200 mainboard.
  • If it's only 1 or two keys the plunger may need a clean, strip down the keyboard and clean the plunger with some IPA.
  • If it's a whole row of keys missing its a very strong possibility that the membrane on your needs replacing.
  • The final step is to trim off 1mm of the connector (the ribbon end that plugs into the A1200 mainboard).

Amiga A600 4Mb Fast Ram Module

This unit has been superseded with the A600 8Mb Fast Ram version which you can switch between 4Mb and 8Mb fast ram.

Amiga A600 4Mb Fast ram module provides 4Mb of fast ram in your Amiga 600 works with all revisions of mainboard and simply plugs on top of the A600 processor. The benefit of having 4Mb of fast ram is that it opens up the world of WHDLoad as the recommended minimum of fast ram is 4Mb in an OCS/ECS Amiga. It is strongly recommended that an extra 1Mb chip ram is also present (total of 2Mb chip). Each unit is hand built and tested for 24 hrs. and built to order an take approx 3 working days from order.

This unit has been superseded with the A600 8Mb Fast Ram version which you can switch between 4Mb and 8Mb fast ram.
