Hi, I just fitted my new aca500plus to my amiga 500+ Rev8 and its d.o.a , I have followed the instructions to the letter, and looked on the icomp.de forum but nothing. My amiga boots to a purple kickstart screen without the aca500plus connected and my action replay cartridge works perfectly when plugged in to the edge connector.
May be I'm missing something here, any ideas?

Ok try:
- Clean the edge connector of the A500 Plus (top and bottom) with a rubber or a cotton bud with the IPA (better), you mentioned the replay cart works but not all devices use the same pin connectors.
- Plug in the ACA500 all the way and then pull back by a 1mm (a fraction) so it not all the way home.
We see this a lot and its the same for many add-ons. Keep us posted!

Okay I tried cleaning the edge connector with a pencil eraser and IPA and cotton buds. Also tried adjusting the position of the card on the edge connector, no luck, nothing is happening at all no lights, no DISmo , no image on the screen.

Quick update, I tried the ACA500Plus in my other Amiga 500 rev 6A and I'm getting the same results, I cleaned the pads and pulled the aca500 out by 1mm.
Ok no issue, but before we process a return where we will test/replace, have you got access to another PSU?

Yes, my other A500 rev 6A has its own power supply, I also just tried it with an A1200 psu.
